I have been training with Ryan (and occasionally, Chris) for over 2 years as of writing. Before I started training with Ryan, I had been lifting weights for over 14 years.

I thought I knew almost everything about lifting. And boy, was I wrong.

Working with Ryan, I was able to correct my technique for every single body part that I had been training myself for over a decade. The results are that I was able to lift heavier weight and I was able to build muscle in parts that I had been lacking for years. I always thought it would be amazing if I could bench 2 plates on each side (100kg) and now I can bench close to 130kg. I always struggled to build my rear delts and now I have round shoulders. My back was mediocre at best, and as you can see I have a broad back. The list of changes goes on.

As long as you are persistent and motivated, Ryan can tailor a program that will change how you look to get that physique you have always wanted.

And remember to eat right!

P.S. The picture shown here was a cutting phase Ryan designed for me. The goal was to lean down and get my 6-pack showing again. I went from 81kg to 75kg in 3.5 months and dropped my body fat % significantly.

I was weighing 106kg and feeling really unhealthy. I was unable to participate in a lot of sports because of pains in joints and I was constantly out of breath. I felt lousy about myself. I decided to try personal training one day to have a trial as I wanted to do something about my body. The trainers were friendly and immediately made me feel comfortable. They did not judge me, but instead offered many good tips on how I can work towards a healthier lifestyle. They really tailor-made the program for me and it was amazing - I have since lost 25kg! I love that this gym and it’s team of trainers sing the same tune so you can’t go wrong working with any of ‘em. And it’s really cool because the clients kinda know each other as well so it’s like a little community sometimes. And you know how some gyms are very particular about 1-hour sessions? With these fellas they make sure we complete whatever’s on the program that they came up with. And by following a program rather than a strict time duration, it’s really useful because then I don’t get exhausted when I get sufficient rest in between sets! So always plan out your time. Or check with your trainers how long you will take. So yeah. The reviews here has stated how knowledgeable these guys are so I won’t add to the pool of it but #justsaying, every time I laid a BS claim, I’d be googled against with evidence and science to back up and a whole discussion would ensue.

I also really appreciate the pristine condition of the gym even though it’s a 75% male team 🙂

I work with Ryan twice a week and he gives me additional work twice more in the week which is mostly great until it’s your birthday and he makes sure you get the job done anyway. 👊

I was the typical "skinny guy" who just couldn't gain weight. I have been a regular gym-goer for years but had plateaued in my progress and needed a change. After having worked with personal trainers (x2) before and seeing limited results I had mixed expectations about what to expect with Chris. After training with him for the last 6 months I have transformed my appearance and gained a healthy 7kg with a regular routine. I feel great and can honestly say this was the change I needed to push forward and reach my personal goals. No plans to stop training, looking forward to the next 6 months!

Through my 1 year training with Ryan, he guided and educated me on my fitness journey, equipping me with mental toughness to push myself to reach my goals.

What I particularly enjoyed about working out with Ryan is that he sets realistic goals for me to achieve. Not one to diet, he also identified what food I could have and which ones I could live without. The result was almost immediate... Having Ryan as my personal trainer was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life where i invested in a training package to get back in shape and lead a healthy lifestyle. His training program was progressive and very effective when done together with meal planning and proper guidance. He’s not only a trainer but a great Friend.


REBECCA

I've been "training" since I was 12 years old. My dad was a bodybuilder / surgeon / and aerobics instructor so it was a part of my DNA. Relatively sporty and competitive I had settled that I'll always be the stocky one who at 68kg could run 10k, play most team sports and do a Bikram yoga class without too much effort.

I found Ryan through a work colleague and started training with him in mid-2014. At the start of 2015 we increased sessions to twice per week and started to get serious. Ryan helped me to stop "coasting" through training and kick-started my transformation by giving me small weekly goals covering nutrition and training. Focusing me these small goals stopped me continuously failing on the big goals. Over a 6 month period I had lost about 8kg easily keeping it off. For my 36th birthday in 2016 we took another 2.6kg off by making small tweaks to my diet, more weight training and adding a supplement program.

I was 57.4kg, 15.3% body fat and the happiest I've ever been. I was killing yoga and progressing my balance and inversion poses for the first time, I could do 10 pull-ups (almost) and cross-trained lighter, faster, stronger. I was also smashing through my relentlessly intensive work (including weekly travel) focused and full of energy.

I've since moved to Bangkok in early 2016 and I'm holding on to all the good behaviour and learnings from Ryan. If I could 3 wishes in the world besides world peace and x-ray vision, one of them would be to continue to have Ryan has my trainer. A big piece of my health and happiness missing!

Ryan was my personal trainer for about a year. I found him via a Fave fitness discount coupon and decided to try strength training for fun. At that time, I was a super skinny girl, almost 0% muscles, and have never lifted weights in a gym ever in my life. After a few sessions with Ryan, I was convinced strength training helps me look and feel better overall. Ryan keeps me focused and committed to a three-day weekly gym schedule. He’s helped me develop more discipline, endurance, and drive to stay active and healthy.

The expertise and guidance Ryan provided through my strength training sessions have been amazing. He's very strict on my form, and consistently redesigns my sessions so I keep progressing consistently. On top of that, I also found that the trainings help boost my energy levels and improve my ability to manage my daily stress.

Ryan is very passionate about what he does and always cheers me on every step of the way. When I managed to do 10 push-ups he was over the moon—more so than I was! That's how invested he is in his clients' progress.
